Flora A. Crater Manuel, 70, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur on Monday, July 1, 2013. She was born on July 26, 1942 to Dolores Hebert Crater and Gilford Crater in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. She has been a resident of the area for over 30 years. Flora worked as a Phlebotomist at Christus St. Mary Hospital for over 10 years. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. She is survived by her daughter, Katrina Blanchard of Port Arthur, Texas, her sons, Jake Manuel, Sr. of Groves, Texas, Stephen Sanchez and his wife Angela of Port Neches, Texas, Jesse Sanchez, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Port Neches, Texas, grandchildren, Bobby McLemore, Timothy Godcheaux, Nicholas Godcheaux, Jake Manuel, Jr., Jeffrey Manuel, Joey Manuel, Michael Sanchez, Justin Sanchez, Krystal Sanchez, Kelsea Sanchez, Jason Jagneaux, Kagen Broussard, Evan Sanchez, Amanda Babb, Jasmine Blanchard and Jeremy Blanchard, great grandchildren, Dylan, Ethan, Alex, Gunner, Austen, Gage, Dylan, Lain, Asher, Miles. She is also survived by her sister Jennifer Burns of Port Arthur, Texas and her brother, Gilford Crater, Jr. of Lake Charles, Louisiana along with several nieces and nephews.
