"Rambler" age 90 passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at his home. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 28, 1922 to Clell Joseph and Marie Carrier Mallet, SR. "Rambler" was employed at Gulf Oil as a welder for 38 years. He also served our country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. "Rambler" was a member of the Sertoma Club and the Krew Le Bon Temps. He was of the Catholic faith, Visitation will be on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be prayed at 12:30 P.M. by Renella Primeaux. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Clayton Memorial Chapel of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. J.C. Coon officiate. "Rambler" donated his body to science and would like memorial donations to the American Cancer Society. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil LeBlanc Mallet, Parents, Clell and Marie Mallet, SR., daughter, Pamela Mallet Walker. "Rambler" is survived by his son, Rowan L. Mallet of Beaumont, daughter, Shellie Mallet Jennings of Beaumont, sisters, Audrey Todd and Dorothy Vargas both of Nederland, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
