Dorothy Alma Morehead Green, 73, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont on Sunday, September 1, 2013. She was born on May 10, 1940 to Dorothy Shannon Morehead and William Morehead in Houston, Texas. She had been a resident of Port Arthur for 17 years. Dorothy was a retired teacher and a member of the Methodist Faith. She is survived by her loving husband, William "Bill" Green of Port Arthur, Texas, her daughter, Elizabeth Shannon Green-Koog of Austin, Texas, her son, William Bradford Green of Little Cypress, Texas, two grandchildren along with her sister, Mary Frances Wissner of Alvin, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held for close family and friends. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
