Craig Joseph McElroy, 36, of Spring, Texas passed away at Houston Northwest Hospital on Thursday, November 21, 2013. He was born on December 5, 1976 to Linda LeDoux McElroy and Larry W. McElroy in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a resident of Port Arthur before moving to California in 1990 and Spring in 2004. Craig was a student at the Bob Hope School while he lived in Port Arthur. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Faye and Clyde McElroy. He is survived by his parents, Linda and Larry McElroy of Spring, Texas, his sister, Susan Elizabeth McElroy of Spring, Texas, his brother, David Wayne McElroy and wife Lesli of Spring, Texas, two nieces, Mallori and Abbie McElroy and grandparents, Lucille and Louis LeDoux of Port Arthur, Texas. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 24, 2013 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
