Ramona Guidroz

Mona Guidroz age 79 of Port Arthur, TX. passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Senior Wellness Center. She was born on February 10, 1934 in Raymondville, Texas to Matilde and Dolores Sanchez Garcia. Mona was a resident of Port Arthur for over 65 and had worked at ElCharo Mexican Restaurant for over 30 years. She also own and operated Mona's Club in Port "Arthur for several years Mona was preceded in death by her husband of many years Calvin Guidroz, brother, Martin Garcia, sisters, Mary Diaz and Judy Cayou. She is survived by her children, Robert Guidroz, Catherine Allen, Becky Cahahin and husband Clem, Judith Cormier, Elizabeth Guidroz, David Guidroz and wife Missy, Rhonda Chatagnier and husband L.D., Michael Guidroz and wife Rachael, Charles Guidroz and wife Tansy all from Texas, siblings Frank Garcia of Port Arthur, Juan Garcia of Phoenix, AZ., Amelia "Melo" Austin of Muscle Shoals AL., and Gloria Puente of Beaumont, 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be in the Thompson Memorial Chapel of Clayton Thompson on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
