Frankie Ruth Banning Davis, 88, of Orange, Texas passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013 at her home. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on July 9, 1925. She was a resident of the Port Arthur area for over 65 years. Frankie served as the bookkeeper for Port Arthur Honda. She was a beloved wife, adored mother and grandmother and nurturer to many. She will be missed but her loving ways will be carried on. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM At Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Friday, December 13, 2013 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Vernon Thomas Banning and her son Charles David James, brother-in-law, Robert Haynes. She is survived by her loving husband, Earl Eugene Davis of Orange, her daughter, Frankie Jea'Nan Davis and husband Kristopher Moody of Orange, her son, Ronald Eugene Davis and wife Melody of Port Arthur, two step daughters, Paula Sue James of Fannett and Jean Ann Sharp and husband Bill of Fort Worth, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and her sister, Joyce Josephine Haynes of Dallas, Texas, several nieces and nephews.
