David G. Douglas David G. Douglas, 60, of Nederland, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born on September 12, 1953 to Geneva Scheland Douglas and Charles Douglas in Fulton, Kentucky. David served in the U. S. Army for seven years, spent most of his time at the Pentagon. He worked as a truck driver for many years. A military memorial service will be at 12:45 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in the Houston National Cemetery. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors. He is survived by his mother, Geneva Philpott of Nederland and his sister, Vickie Arkeen of Nederland, Texas.
