Francis Henry Seal

Francis Henry Seal, 88, of Groves, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at his home. He was born on September 27, 1925 to Pearl Hickman Seal and Henry Seal in Glenmora, Louisiana. He was a resident of Groves for 68 years. He served in the Navy during World War II aboard the USS Lavaca. Francis retired from Texaco Refinery in the Instrument Department after 38 years. He is survived by his wife, Betty Seal, daughter, Connie Seal, Susan Otte and husband Steve, grandson, Chris Orena and wife Chrissy, great grandchildren, Brooke, Kyle and Jenna Orena, three nieces and four nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves with a Memorial Service at 6:30 PM.
