Robert Ian "Bobby" Breaux (58) of Costa Mesa, California, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, California. A native of Port Arthur, Texas, Bobby was born on New Year's Day, 1956, to Molly and Joseph "Bigger" Breaux. Good-natured, charming, supportive, and loving are a few of many ways to describe him. With his father's love of sports and passion for baseball, Bobby grew up playing various sports from Little League to becoming a running back and letterman in football for the Yellow Jackets at Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur. Bobby attended all Port Arthur grade schools. He began his grammar school years at St. Joseph Catholic School, junior high years at Woodrow Wilson and Thomas Edison, and then graduated high school from TJ, Class of 1975. Additionally, Bobby was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Placentia, California and also volunteered his time in other charitable projects including the Cub Scout and Boy Scout troops between California and Texas. Traits of civility and steadfastness came from his parents, especially his mother with roots from Ipswich, England. Bobby learned carpentry skills and attained jack-of-all-trades abilities from his father with roots from Houma, Louisiana. As an older brother and role model, he shared a strong bond with his brother Jody. His lifelong love and devotion to his parents and brother naturally carried over to his own children, Christopher, Eleni and John "Yonny". Bobby's love and devotion to family was the center of his entire life. Through the years Bobby enjoyed various outdoor activities. These activities included hunting, fishing, skate boarding, scuba diving (NAUI certified), snow skiing, water skiing, jet skiing, knee boarding, attending air shows and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
