Eula Mae Boettger

March 19, 1924 - March 7, 2014

Eula Mae Rita Theriot-Boettger, 89 of Port Arthur, TX., passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 less than two weeks from her ninetieth birthday. She was born on March 19,1924 to the late Emily and Clophie Theriot. Eula graduated from Franklin High School in Franklin, LA. She was a resident of Port Arthur since 1943 and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for 70 years. Eula was beloved by all her family and friends. Eula was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Boettger in 2006, her parents and brothers, AldonTheriot, Junius Theriot,Herbert Theriot, Alvin Terrell and Bertram Theriot, sisters, Mildred Mayea and Irene Champagne. She is survived by her two children and their spouses, son Robert C. and Alisha Boettger of New Braunfels, TX. and daughter, Terry and Steven Babin of Nederland, TX. Four grandchildren, Amanda (Babin) and her husband Chris Reaves, Brock Babin and his wife Laura, Andrew Boettger and Courtney (Boettger) Wisniewski and her husband Tom and four great grandchildren, Jordan Boettger, Alexia Victoria Boettger, Ava Marie Reaves and Wyatt Aaron Babin. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
