Clarence R. "Pip" Fabacher age 59 passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston after 14 month battle with cancer, with his family by his side. Clarence was born in Lafayette, LA .on August 23, 1954 to Joseph and Dorothy Hanes Fabacher, Sr. He was a resident of the Port Arthur area for 59 years. Clarence was employed as a captain with Florida Marine Transporters. He was the founder and owner of Quality Boat store and Lone Star Meat Market and Smoke House both in Port Arthur. Clarence loved the water and to fish and hunt with his grandchildren especially at his camp at Lake Sam Rayburn. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Fabacher of Orange, daughters, Michelle and husband Shawn Landry of Port Neches, Karen and husband Chris Flory of Groves, brother, Joseph Fabacher, Jr. and wife, Diane of Webster, two sisters, Barbara Kilchrist and husband, Aubrey of Orange, Liz Fabacher and fiancée, Steve Kilchrist of Nederland, four grandchildren, Konnor and Logan Landry, Devin and Kaleb Flory. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 5:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Clayton Thompson. Cremation is entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
