Daryl Dale Buteaux went home to be with his Savior unexpectedly on Sunday, August 17, 2014. He was a 1976 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. He was a long time member of the Triangle Baptist Church family. He leaves behind his best friend and wife Linda of 35 years, daughter, Ashley Thibodeaux, son, Cory Buteaux, mother, Iona Buteaux, sister, Sharyl DeLaRosa, niece, Kristi DeLaRosa, and lastly his only grandchild Aaliyah. He also leaves behind several other loved ones who looked up to him as an uncle or father. He was preceded in death by his brother Lee Buteaux and father Milton Buteaux. Daryl was very well known in the community for his work as a bread delivery man. He was lovingly called "Breadman" or "Big D" by many. Daryl was also known for his several years as a little league coach. Many stories and many friends were made during those years. The last four years of his life were spent being the best PawPaw in the entire world to his only grandchild Aaliyah. They adored each other and she felt like he could do anything. Daryl was that way with everyone else in his life. He solved everyone else's problems and always had advice when you needed it. His physical absence will be felt by countless people in ways we cannot yet imagine. Visitation will be at Clayton Thompson in Groves on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 5 PM to 8.PM. The funeral will be held at Triangle Baptist Church on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM.
