Angelina Wratislaw, 92, of Port Arthur/Nederland passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 17, 1921 to Angelina Borsetti Pampolina and Pete Pampolina in Port Arthur, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Stanley Landry; her second husband, Dempsie Wratislaw; a son, Arthur (Red) Landry; her brothers, Joseph Pampolina, James Pampolina, Carlo Pampolina, Walter (Tootsie) Pampolina; her sisters, Mary Farris, Josephine Boyle, Susie Gongaware, Katherine Aranda and Lena Durant. Angelina is survived by her sons, Joseph Landry and wife, Patricia of Nederland, TX, David Landry and wife, Nancy of Bridge City, TX, Richard (Hoot) Landry and wife, Cheryl of Port Neches, TX; a daughter-in-law, Theresa Landry of Houston, TX; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Angie was a loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She served as a Lecturer and Eucharistic Minister at St. James/St. Charles Catholic Church for over 40 years. She was a member of the St. Charles Ladies Alter Society and volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital and the Attic for over 21 years. After moving to Nederland she became a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church where she joined the Women's Guild and Bereavement Committees, and continued to serve the Church as a Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of The Red Hats Society and avid Bowler for over sixty years until she quit at the age of 90. Angie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Oil Chemical and Atomic Worker International Union Local 423 Port Arthur, TX. She loved being with people, her friends and especially family. Her greatest joy in recent years was playing Bingo and visiting friends and family. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 PM at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
