Faye Elizabeth Provost Rawson Faye Elizabeth Provost Rawson, 75, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Magnolia Manor in Groves. She was born on September 16, 1939 to Lelia Blanchard Provost and Robert Provost in Port Arthur, Texas. Faye was a lifelong resident of the area. She worked as a bartender for many years and a homemaker raising her family. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Robert "Sugar" Provost, Jr., Benny Provost, Theresa McClintock and Barbara Stansbury, her husband, Robert W. Rawson, Sr. Faye is survived by her daughters, Debbie Keaton and husband, Ike, Lori Rees and husband, J.R. all of Liberty, Texas, Kathy Butaud of Groves, Trish Landry and husband, Craig of Port Neches, Laurie Montenegro and husband, Rafa of Port Arthur, Stephanie Bauer and husband, Ray of Louisville, Kentucky, her sons, Robert W. Rawson, Jr. and wife, Michelle, Stephen Rawson all of Port Arthur, Donald Rawson and wife, Cham, Tony Durso and wife, Cathy all of Groves, 26 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Rita Tiblier of Humble, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 16, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors.
