Loc Tien Nguyen

Loc Tien Nguyen, 86, of Port Arthur passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. He was born in Hanoi, Vietnam on December 15, 1928 to Kinh Thi Nguyen and Luat Nguyen. He served in the South Vietnamese Army as a Colonel. Loc has been living in the United States since 1975. He worked as a business owner and a machinist. He is a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Hong-Oanh Thi "Mary" Nguyen of Port Arthur, his two sons, Luc Tien Nguyen and his wife, Hong Thi Nguyen of California, Liem Thanh Nguyen and his wife, My Hanh of Port Arthur, his daughter, Hong-Loan Thi Collver and her husband, Mark of Flower Mound, Texas along with six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters and his brothers. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors.
