Karen Lynn Brack

August 8, 1959 - December 31, 2015

Karen Lynn Brack, 56, of Groves passed away on December 31, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Karen was born on August 8, 1959 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents Ruby Lou (Robison) and John Hansen Gremillion. She was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and Groves area. She enjoyed cooking, going shopping and visiting with family and friends. Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby Gremillion; father in law, Kenneth Brack; brother in law, Mike Brack, niece, Lauren Brack.

Karen is survived by husband of 39 years Louis Brack of Groves; son, Christopher A. Brack and wife, Bridgette of Colmesneil; grandchildren, Katelynn, Caleb, Colby, Cayden. She is also survived by her sisters, Sheila Aymond and husband, Gerald of Denham Spring, LA, Jane Todd of Port Arthur; mother in law, Billie Brack of Groves; brother in law, Danny Brack and wife, Tina of Mauriceville and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 5 pm until 8 pm at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 2 pm at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home Chapel. A committal and entombment service will be held on held on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves at 10 am.

Honoring Karen as pallbearers will be Calbe Brack, Colby Brack, Craig Coggins, Brian Abney, Eric Viator and Bruce McGlotin.
