Melba Fae Anniboli, age 90, passed from our world on Saturday, January 1, 2016 at her home in Groves, Texas surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Camden, Texas December 17, 1925 the only child of Dora and Bergman Stringer. In 1942 Melba relocated to Port Arthur, Texas. The following year she would graduate from Thomas Jefferson High school. She attended Port Arthur Business College, and was employed by KCS Railway and Firestone Tire. On August 3, 1946 Melba married Jasper Anthony Anniboli Sr. and settled into the role of a devoted and caring housewife. Together they spent the next forty two years in love and marriage. Jasper preceded her in death in 1989. During her lifetime Melba nourished the people around her with faith and love. She enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with friends. Melba was a member of St. Peter's The Apostle Catholic Church and attended daily worship there. In service to her faith and church she was a member of the alter society, and a minister of communion to the sick and homebound. Melba or "Maw Maw" was always quick to say her biggest blessings in life were her seven children.

Great Grandchildren; Kaid and Kollin Guilbeaux, Wessen and Walker Goodridge, Jacob Dewbre and Juliet Jordan. Remaining dear to her heart are sister in laws Rose Roccaforte, Betty Sheppard, Grace Neely, Yvette Anniboli and many nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Louise Norman and Ileana Bridges for such care, kindness, love and also offer our kindest regards to Johnny Garcia for being a true and faithful friend who has always been there. A special thank you to Moon and Tracy with Century Hospice.

Old Indian Prayer

When I am dead, cry for me a little
think of me sometimes, but not too much.
It is not good for you, or your wife, or your children
to dwell to long on the dead.
Think of me now and again, as I was in life
at some moment, that it is pleasant to recall,
but then not for long.
I am at peace and I shall give you too peace.
While you live, let your thoughts be mostly with the living.
Amen.
