Mary Hazel Hebert, 84, of Port Arthur passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.
Hazel was born on October 30, 1931 in Lafayette, Louisiana to parents Aril Trosclair and Laurence (Guidry) Trosclair. She had lived 65 plus years in Port Arthur and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and watching her sons play baseball. Hazel was a loving person who will be missed dearly by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elphege Hebert, sister, Lena Broussard.
Hazel is survived by her children, Rose Chambers and husband, Thomas of Port Arthur, Jo Ann King and husband, Bubba Jones of Silsbee, Kathy Robinson and husband, Bryan of Rusk, Mervin Hebert and wife, Toya of Port Arthur, Ted Hebert and wife, Mariette of Lafayette; sisters, Lillian Braud and Georgia Caillouet both of Louisiana. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 5 pm until 8 pm at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a rosary prayer recited at 7 pm at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur.
