Ruth Danos Martin born in New Orleans, LA; a native of Raceland, LA and longtime resident of Port Arthur, TX, went home to our Lord on Monday, October 10, 2016.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the services and funeral. Visitation for family will be held from 4 pm until 5 pm; gathering of friends will be held from 5 pm until 8 pm, with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 pm on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, TX. A 10 am Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 3648 9th Ave. in Port Arthur, with Rev. Urbano Sáenz Ramírez will be the celebrant. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
She is survived by her two children, Brenda (Martin) Pastorella and Danny Martin; her sister, Kim Donos; her five grandchildren, Robert “Bob” Pastorella JR., Teresa Martin McNutt, Tara Martin Winn, Gina Pastorella McMahon, Shane Martin; her nine great grandchildren, Hayden Guerra, Maggie McMahon, Faith McMahon, Keaton Butler, Ariana Martin, Caleb Winn, Connor Winn, Sophia Martin, Reid Martin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, husband, Phillip V. Martin; Parents Armond “T-Mon” Danos and Julia Matherne Danos; her sisters, Ethel Danos Benoit, Betty Danos Pertuit; her son in law, Robert C. Pastorella, Sr.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend; who will be forever remembered and sorely missed.

Honoring Ruth as pallbearers will be Hayden Guerra, Shane Martin, Robert “Bobby” Pastorella Jr., Chris McMahon, James McNutt and Mike Winn. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Martin and Glenn Savoie.
