Elizabeth Cuellar

August 11, 1921 - June 4, 2017

Elizabeth Ann George Cuellar (BB) was born August 11, 1921 to Amin and Nafalie George in Port Arthur, TX. She died on June 4, 2017 surrounded by family in Katy, TX. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ted Cuellar, her sisters and brother, Jeanette Koontz, Georgette Dumesnil, Juliette “Dodo” George, and Colonel Amin George Jr.

Liz was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother known by her loved ones as BB. She was loved by family and friends including her friends in Dallas where she lived for 40 years, and her Sunrise family in Katy for the last 8 years. She was a professional hairdresser in Port Arthur for many years and was involved in many church activities and organizations in Dallas.

She is survived by her children Annette Bibby and her husband Robert, Karen Wilson and her husband Kevin, Kyle Cuellar and his wife Janet as well as six grandchildren Blake Bibby, Grant Bibby and his wife Rachel, Reid Bibby and his wife Emily, Brandon Cuellar and his wife Hailey, Russell Cuellar, Marisa Wilson and great grandson Ted Bibby.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, with a rosary to be prayed at 1:15 PM the funeral home. A 2 PM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Arthur. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
