Betty Jo White

August 5, 1944 - November 16, 2017

Betty Jo White, 73, of Port Arthur passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2017 at Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

Betty was born on August 5, 1944 in Port Arthur to parents Celina (Vice) and Walton White; and lifelong resident. Betty passion in life was crocheting crosses for Wounded Soldiers Society and quilting blankets for her loved one.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Betty is survived by sister, Linda Wagner of Rock Falls, IL; her dear friend, Sue Sherbaf of Beaumont; almost a son, Richard Combs and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 5 pm until 8 pm at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. A 2 PM graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
