Julia Ann LeBlanc, 99, of Needville, TX, formerly of Port Acres, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Reliable Oaks Care Home in Needville, where she lived happily and under excellent care for the last nine years.

Julia was one of seven children born to parents Margaret (Theriot) and Joseph “Joe” Zampini on September 17, 1918 in Port Arthur, Texas. She was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and she served her country in the Navy during WWII as a decoder in Washington DC. She worked in the Jefferson County Tax Office in Port Arthur for many years. Julia enjoyed going to the beach and she had a green thumb, growing beautiful flowers and vegetable gardens. Julia was a loving person who will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clinton P. LeBlanc and her six siblings.

Julia is survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Reliable Oak Care Home 11750 Padon Road, Needville, TX 77461 in the loving memory of Julia LeBlanc.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 10 AM until 12 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
