Tresa Delitha Rizzo

Tresa Delitha Rizzo, 78, of Groves passed away on passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Senior Rehab in Port Arthur.

Tresa was born on April 5, 1939 in Navasota, Texas to parents Ora Valine Cook and Edger Leonard Flomar. She has lived in the Groves area for 40 plus years and was a member of Central Baptist Church. She had worked for many years for Affordable Travel as a travel agent. She enjoyed playing computer games, especially puzzle games, and making jewelry. Tresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edger Folmar; her mother, Ora Lumpkin; her sister, Patricia Folmar and her brother, Leonard Ronald Folmar.

Tresa is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frank Charles Rizzo of Groves; her son, Michael Rizzo and his wife, Linda of Port Arthur; her daughter, Sheryl Lynn Durman and her husband, Tony of Port Acres; her brother, Edward Folmar of Houston. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

A 1 PM funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends from 11 AM until service time at the funeral home. Officiating will be Dr. Phil Sigman, pastor of Central Baptist Church and Rev. Donnie Robbins, pastor of Life Church. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
