Maudry LeBlanc, 81, of Port Neches passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at her home.
She was born on February 14, 1937 to her parents,Preston and Olita Dupuis LeMaire in Abbeville, Louisiana. Maudry has been a resident of the area for over 59 years. She worked as a cook in the Bakery department for Market Basket in Port Neches with 19 years of service. Maudry was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her four brothers and her husband, Harold Joseph LeBlanc.
Maudry is survived by her three daughters, Beverly Harrington and husband, Jody of Groves, Shirley Billot of Beaumont, Judy Petrovich and husband, David of Groves, her two sons, Russell LeBlanc and wife, Sue Ellen of Port Neches, Gerald LeBlanc of Dayton, 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Delores Gary of Coteau, Louisiana and her brother, Dennis LeMaire of Delcambre, Louisiana as well as several nieces and nephews along with her Market Basket Family.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches. Rev. Shane Baxter will serve as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens under the direction of Clayton Thompson.
