Larrece "Reece" Labove

June 18, 1937 - April 23, 2018

Larrece "Reece" Labove, 80, of Vidor passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont.

Reece was born on June 18, 1937 in Cleveland, Texas to parents Ira Lee (Shirley) and Jesse Stedman Majors. She had lived in the Sabine Pass area for 25 years; also in Vidor. Reece worked as a Farmers Insurance Agent for 21 years and she was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Vidor. She enjoyed sewing and loved to cook and spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ernest Ray "Coonie" Labove; her sister, Ruby Lee Bienvenue.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Donald Wayne Labove and his wife, Kimberly of Petal, MS; her daughter, Lori Labove of Vidor; her sister, Barbie Dee Nichols of Vidor. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A 1 PM funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, with a gathering of family and friends from 9 AM until 12 PM at the funeral home prior to services. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Stinson. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
